Hi,
For my project this year (8th), I wanted to do a "plant growth" project, so my partner and I submitted our project form with the topic "Impact of Fungi on Plant Growth". We aim to do a project mostly mushroom-centered (but I am curious how I would implement others, like mold for example), but I'm really unsure how to go about it. Can anyone help turn us in the right direction for mushrooms and/or fungi that are safe to work with? Otherwise, is this project worth doing for the price? Thanks 🙇

Hello! This sounds like a super cool project idea!

Science Buddies has a project abstract that could help you get started:
- https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ant-health -

This post suggests adding moldy bread to the soil in order to observe the effects on plant growth.

This post linked here (https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ngi-spores) differs a bit from your initial topic but allows you to explore how mushrooms grow.

Hopefully these are good starting points! Good luck with your project, and let us know if you have any other questions!

Best,
Chloe
