Moon Topic Question

Can anyone help my 8-year-old develop a testable question (scientific bleep) for the topic of how the moon seems to follow you?
Hello,
I love this curious question! I found a number (too many to list here!) of moon related Science Project and ideas by searching the site. However, most of the projects that deal with the size or positioning of the moon are geared toward older students. Maybe some of the other projects may spark some other moon related ideas that would be a better fit for an 8-year old?
