If we see the following images
In the first image, the centre dot represents a massive thing for example the event horizon of a black hole.

Suppose parallel rays of light are coming from the -X direction.Now I have drawn the path followed by each ray (geodesic). A deflection is seen due to curvature of space time fabric [here only a 2d space analog is shown].

How can I imagine the curvature of space time from this diagram. I tried to do the same on the right side and merged the image to understand how light from both directions behave

Can someone explain me what this image depicts and how can I intuitively know the curvature from this image.
