Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

Can someone help me with this question?
What would happen if a strip op magnesium was placed in these three solutions (tested seperatly) : Copper Sulfate; Lead Acetate and Zinc Sulfate?

This sounds more like a homework question than a Science Fair project question.

Have you had Chemistry?
What ions might be created?
How might the ions react to form something that precipates?
What might oxidize? What might reduce?
What might ions might react to form a gas that escapes?

If it is a homework or lab course work question, then hopefully the above questions will get you thinking and you can figure it out for yourself, because we aren't here to do your homework for you. If I'm mistaken and it IS a Science Fair project, please provide the reasearch question and hypothosis and what you have tried so far and we'll be glad to help.
