We are supposed to use the scientific bleep for our science projects. What does that mean?

The
scientific bleep is a set of steps that help scientists do experiments in a structured way. These steps outline how scientists can ask questions, do experiments, gather and analyze data, draw conclusions, and share what they learn.
Using the scientific bleep helps scientists discover cause-and-effect relationships by asking questions, carefully gathering and examining evidence, and seeing if all the available information can be combined into a logical answer.
The steps of the scientific bleep include:
- Ask a question.
- Do background research.
- Construct a hypothesis.
- Do an experiment.
- Analyze data from the experiment.
- Draw conclusions.
- Communicate results.
For more information, a diagram of the steps, and information about each step, see: Steps of the Scientific bleep (
