Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

We are doing the detect if it is ripe fruit sensor project. We are having a hard time getting the detection to work. The light will turn on for all the fruit, and now it will not turn on for any of the fruit. We have adjusted the sensor, but are struggling to get it to work as explained. Do you have any suggestions, when this happens.

Hi Kory and Austin -- Can you please share photos of the circuit, looking straight at it and close so that Experts here can confirm the placement of the elements? This will help with troubleshooting.
