In Search of Project Ideas

I'm a beginner and I just started to do some science research. I would say that my math skills are pretty advanced; I am a top scorer in many math competitions.

All the math project ideas on this site seem too simple and not complex enough for what I'm looking for. So, can anyone propose some ideas for me?

Hi prosperous,
Why don't you let us know your grade level, the math courses that you have taken, and some examples of math topics that interest you. That will help us find a suitable project for you. If there are any projects that you've seen that sound interesting, but are too simple, please let us know. It is generally not too hard to build more complexity into a simple project.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi prosperous,

Here are three websites that may help you.

1. http://mathforum.org/teachers/mathproject.html
2. Math activities on: http://www.learner.org/catalog/resource ... act01.html
3. http://www.all-science-fair-projects.com/
Plugging math as a keyword you get to:
http://all-science-fair-projects.com/sc ... _category=

on that page, plugging in:
Difficulty: high school
Category: mathematics & Computer Science
you get:

http://all-science-fair-projects.com/sc ... ategory=41

which has a collection of science projects. I only mention the details in case you want to change any of the parameters

The above sites were generated by inputting “what are mathematics science projects?â€
