My 6th grade science project is "How can plants partially deprived recover?" During the course of this project, I need to conduct an interview with an expert about my topic. Can you help?
First of all, I need a plant that will grow fast and easily. What type of plant do you recommend? Next, I need to know about photsynthesis and light. Why is light so important to plants? How long can most plants survive with out light? How do plants collect light to use during photosynthesis? What important role do the chlorplasts play in photosynthesis? Also, Ineed to ask, When plants are deprived of light for long periods of time, do they have an alternative for photosynthesis? What about plants without leaves? How are they supposed to perform photosynthesis? Are plants in the process of photosynthesis all the time?
Please try to get back soon and answer most of the questions. I need to turn a paper in on this interview on Thursday the 25th.
Thanks a lot. :)

Hello46,

This forum is for students who are doing science projects and have specific questions on how to go about doing their project, their procedures, or interpreting results. The Experts in this forum will provide suggestions and resources to help you, but we like students to look for answers on their own before coming here. You should be able to find the answers to many of your questions in a science textbook or by searching them in Google. If you still have questions after that, please post back and we will be happy to help you.
