My project is on whetther soda water or juice will melt faster they are all the same size and will be placed in the same small amount of water what do you think will happen and why

We would probably be able to help you more if you provided us more details on your project. I am somewhat unclear as to what you will be doing. Are you going to freeze samples of soda,juice, etc. and then put them in water and time how fast they melt? If so a principle similar to one I talked about in the thread above or below (freezing) will apply. If the soda or juice has more particles dissolved in it its freezing point will lower. Thus to melt it will take a greater deal of energy. So ultimately what has more more dissolved substances will probably take a longer time to melt.
