This type of setback happens very often, almost in all science projects. Don't stress out over it, just take it as an opportunity to learn more about electronics. It is very easy to make a simple mistake when you're setting up a sequence, like the lightbulb circuit you're making. All you have to do is check every step one at a time to make sure they're done correctly. Once you've found the problem you'll remember not to make the same mistake in the future, and you'll have a better understanding of how electronics work.
Let me know when you fix the problem! Good luck!

Normally I would suggest talking to a teacher or getting in touch with an electrician for this, but you are very short on time so I doubt that will work. Is there someone else in your family or among your friends whom you could ask to double-check that you've followed the procedure correctly?
I could probably be more helpful if I had more information. Would you please describe for me how your battery is connected to your lightbulb?
