does it matter if i use just fruit wen i use food or if i just use vegitable or would it be better if i just used both

If so, the experiment actually calls for a range of different types of food which will stimulate the different regions of the tongue (salty, sweet, sour, or bitter). The guide suggests different foods which will hopefully stimulate each area (or a combination or areas). Feel free to substitute in any foods of your own! Although I have not conducted this experiment, I would expect fruit to only stimulate the sweet and/or sour tastebuds (depending on the fruit and how ripe it is), so the wider the variety of foods, the more information you will be able to record. Please keep in mind that since this particular experiment involves using people, there are special guidelines that must be followed.
