Hi kwstoudt,
If you provide "what is the effect of using fruits and vegetables as batteries?" to answers.com, you'll find several answers to your question.
Particularly see the first wikianswers entry and the Lemon Battery YouTube.

Hi kwstoudt,
Thanks for your response.
Three items:
1. How is your project going?
2. Is there some information you still need?
3. The YouTube video is at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AY9qcDCFeVI I'm confused; I thought it was relevant.

I'm still on the research report part of the project. I have gone to answers.com but ran out of class time. So I will be going back to answers.com soon. About the YouTube Video, I am actually connected to BYU Cable, Phone and Internet, and BYU has blocked YouTube from us.

Hi kwstoudt,
Thanks for your response.
When you have time, I'm sure you'll find the answers output useful.
It's unfortunate you can't access YouTube. The video has a nice demonstration of a Lemon Battery, plus a method of what to do if the generated voltages are too low.
