Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

I have chosed to do the experiment called Bouncing Balls Off of Surfaces. After reading the description for key words, I am totally confused on where to start my research. Should I be studying motion, or deflection, or something totally different? Please help

To do the project you are interested in I would start by learning all about momentum, elastic and inelastic collisions, and then decide on the question you want to answer in your project.
