i need an interview on my topic why salt and temperature effect water density really need help on this one thanks.
why does temperature effect water density?
why does salt effect water density?
how low does ther temperature have to be for water density to be greatly affected without it freezing?
any other information please

i found some websites (by doing a google search that may help you)
http://www.newton.dep.anl.gov/askasci/c ... m00382.htm
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_(mol ... er_and_ice (click the part about density and salt water density)
also, water is most dense at 4 degrees celcius (about 39.2 degrees celcius). this happens because the water molecules are most closely compacted together at this point and the intermolecular forces of attraction between the water molecules is greatest at this point.
good luck,

Hi will-robinson22,
My favorite search tool happens to be answers.com, which happens to be a value-added front-end to google.
If you pose each of your three questions to answers.com:
1. why does temperature affect water density?
2. why does salt affect water density?
3. how low does the temperature have to be for water density to be greatly affected without it freezing?
Question 1:
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_does_temp ... _of_liquid answers the why
http://www.answers.com/topic/density#Density_of_water has a chart of the density of water at different temperatures.
Question 2:
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_does_addi ... 's_density
Question 3:
I don't understand this question. Could you please rephrase?
I selected some of the webpage hits above. There's plenty more to explore.
