Hello I am doing an experiment on plants. My hypothesis is: If I expose Wisconsin fast plants to blue, green, and red light then the plants that are grown under the blue light will measure in the greatest amount of plant growth.
For this project I need to interview an expert on my topic who knows lots about plants. This interview is due tomorrow so please get back to me quickly, thanks!
Questions:
1) What is your name, your job, and what business do you work for?
2) Why would colored light effect plant growth?
3) Where does plant growth occur in a plant?
4) Which color of light do you think is the best for plant growth?
5) Why would sunlight effect the growth of plants?
6) What is the relationship between light and plant growth?

2) Why would colored light effect plant growth?
it could effect the height that plants grow, depending on what colors you have.
3) Where does plant growth occur in a plant?
both the stem and the leaves can grow.
4) Which color of light do you think is the best for plant growth?
possibly green or blue, because a dramatic color like red or purple could cause be a big change to the plants normal sunlight color.
5) Why would sunlight effect the growth of plants?
sunlight helps most plants grow, because it would be very difficult for a plant to live in a dark room without any sunlight at all.
6) What is the relationship between light and plant growth?
well, plants need light or sunlight to grow, and it would be hard for them to survive without it.

Hi,
I have moved your topic to the life sciences forum, where you are more likely to encounter experts that deal with plants. Good luck with your project!

Hi sciencegirl501,
I merged your new topic with your old one to avoid cluttering the forum with identical posts. Please add new response to this topic using the "post reply" button.
We do not always have experts available to answer these sorts of interview questions, and many of our experts check the forums only about once per week. I'm not sure whether someone will be able to answer your questions by the time your assignment is due tomorrow, so you might want to seek the help of a local expert.
Good luck!
Chris
