I have a science fair project in mind but I'm not sure if it's good or not. It's supposed to be a tornado simulator. If it is a good project I would again need help on picking a hypothesis. PLEASE HELP!
Thank you
G.

Hi,
First you might begin with this entry from the "Science Fair Project Ideas" section of Science Buddies --
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... g&from=TSW
I did a search on Google, entering "Tornado simulator science project" and found many good ideas and posts -- I recommend reading these to start:

Have fun, weather is a great area to study!

Thank you so much Bill. But you know for the
first link you sent me. The level of difficulty was 4-7. How can I make sure it's a
7? Because I would really like to show my hard work off at the science fair...and
possibly win a title or something.

Hi, I clicked on "difficulty" in the Science Buddies page describing a tornado simulator project. Check it out:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ulty.shtml
It indicates that for grades 9-12, the rating of 4-7 means it's not necessarily too easy for you, but isn't necessarily very difficult either. The difficulty depends on your background, your capability, and the help you receive.
So this is partly something you'll need to judge for yourself -- whether the project seems challenging enough or might be augmented in some way to make it more suitable for your grade level and capability.

Thank you so much Bill. I was wondering one more thing too actually. What are the most common general questions science fair judges ask about projects?

Hi, this page on Science Buddies offers a good orientation to preparing for judging. I suggest speaking to other students who have presented at science fairs and of course your teachers.

Thank you so much that really helped a lot. Oh and if I do conduct a tornado simulator would i have to bring it to the science fair or just bring project with the hypothesis, graphs, evaluation and conclusion etc?
