This is due TOMORROW!   I need to find resources that explain whether or not taking notes improves your memory for my science fair research paper! Please help! I can't find anything through a search engine!

If you google memory and note-taking, you'll find lots of pages telling you it's a good idea, but I'm guessing you want scientific data. Try running the same search on Google Scholar, you'll get research papers.

All of the websites I found on google scholar were either of no help or required a paid membership. Any other suggestions?

You should be able to at least view the abstracts of those papers. Keep at it! Twelve minutes (between Amber's post and yours) is not much time to gather information. Once you find one good source, like this:
http://eric.ed.gov/ERICWebPortal/custom ... o=EJ195516
or this
http://www.springerlink.com/content/v6653251213q8j44/
then you can type the name into google scholar and click on "related articles" to find other sources.
If you need the full text, then you will probably have to visit a university library. Sometimes you can get lucky and find a copy of the paper online posted by the author for educational use. Google books will allow you to view selected sections of some books. For example
http://books.google.com/books?id=PUJo3j ... =firefox-a
Good luck.
