Need microscope video camera adapter

I need a microscope video camera adapter that I could possibly make or buy. The microscope eyepiece is 2cm in diameter and the video camera has an eyepiece of 4cm. Are there any instructions online that tell you how to make a video camera adapter, or do I have to make one myself through trail and error. I have researched many video camera adapters but they are way too expensive. Are there any video camera adapters that can be bought cheaply. Thanks

I would recommend one of the alternatives pointed to by Barrett -- a "microscope with projector" (the ScienceFair URL). The idea is to project the microcope's image onto a small screen and take a video of the projected image. You might find an existing microscope available to you with a projection capability or you might find one for sale within your budget. You would of course need to consider the quality of the projected image and the resolution your investigation requires.
