I need an experiment Idea for . Why are veins blue and blood read?

Hi!
Great question! Arteries carry blood which contains oxygen, and the veins carry blood whose oxygen has already been used up by the body. In fact, veins are not really "blue", they are just a darker red color that seems to be blue when we look at it, since oxygenated blood is a very bright red color. Just a few more things- Since it is already a known fact that arteries are red and veins are blue, perhaps you could investigate another aspect of arteries and veins which has not been studied before. If you could tell us more of your interests, perhaps we can help you select a project idea which best fits you. Good luck!
