using brushless dc motor

hi, m using a brushless dc motor for a electric car project and i need a min. speed of 80kmph. So can u tell me the specification of of motor should i use. i.e, rpm. n watt consumption.
Again advise me the battery i need to run the motor for 1 hr.

Since this is in the grades 9-12 forum, I will assume you know the basic kinematic equations. If not, look here:

From these, you can see that you would need to know either how long you can wait for your final velocity, or how far. These equations assume no air resistance, which is not "real world", but you can make some assumptions. You would also need to determine the mass of the final vehicle, including the motor. Do you have numbers for these things? (the mass of the vehicle and how long / far to wait for final velocity)? If so, please post them and we can work on the answer.

hi i want to know how much capacity of lead acid battery would i require to run a brushless motor of 1200rpm, 52nm torque and 6.5kw...
Give the voltage and current required to run the motor for 1/2/3 hrs. as feasible.
