Tylenol and Echinacea cause Liver Damage?

Hi,

I'm thinking about using cancerous liver cell linings to produce some cultures, so that I can test the effects of acetaminophen and Echinacea. I'm aware that I would need a growth medium for the cells, and that agar might work. What kind of agar should I use, and how would I apply it to the petri dishes? Also, where can I get liver cancer cell linings?

Thanks,
A-red

Hi,

Thanks Amy!! I actually had the District Science Fair this last Saturday, and I've made it to the Regionals now!!!

I got some replies on my previous thread (Making Artificial Bile) relating to the question I posted there (Thanks for telling me about the centrifuging procedure!! I think I might use that!). Should I post additional questions there, or in this thread?

Cheers,
A-red
