Ideas for projects using a microscope

I am the parent of a soon-to-be 6th grader :shock: . We recently purchased a good quality micrscope and am looking for good science fair project ideas that we can do that use a micrscope. Any suggestions about where to find ideas?

I remember having a microscope as a kid. The most interesting thing I did was just looking at everything I could think of with it. If you can get some stains and learn to prepare slides with stains it gets even more interesting. This can be majorly cool!
