Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

I am an inspiring Cosmetology student @Empire and I am working on an assignment on how to create my own formula for a hair moisturizer. I have a basic lotion and lip balm recipe but how do i incorporate it into the formula that i need. Please help......

Putting "hair moisturizer recipe" into google.com yields many suggestions.

In particular, How to Fix Fried Hair (http://beauty.about.com/od/hairbasics/q ... airfix.htm) contains a recipe and procedure (Option #3). Option #4 is assuming!
