How can I test the idea of carbon sequestration in a science fair experiment?
What can I test and how can I do that?
What kind of experiments would I have to build in order to test carbon sequestration?

Hi,

Congratulations for thinking about carbon sequestration as a topic. Here is PDF file that addresses this issue in the context of agriculture:

http://www.publicpolicy.umd.edu/faculty ... /pdf/1.pdf

This wikipedia aticle talks about moslly industrial sources:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_capture_and_storage

You may find this EPA government site useful:

http://www.epa.gov/sequestration/faq.html

And a Department of Energy Study of carbon sequestration:

http://www.netl.doe.gov/technologies/ca ... d/mva.html

I think these sites taken together will explore the major ideas in carbon sequestion and the main approaches being explore.

Here are some implementation ideas being funded:

Finally, here is an Ask an Exper thread that discusses this issue:

I hope these links provide the kinds on ideas you are seeking. Perhaps ypu can come up with a better idea.
I wish you great success in pursuit of the idea, as it appears both timely and very importat!

Best regards,
