Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

I am a high school AP chemistry student, and we are trying to find a method for determining the caffeine content in coffee. I do have access to a fairly good lab, and we do have spectrophotometers. Thank you for any help.

I think that this is the easiest method for measuring caffeine levels. Other methods probably require expensive lab equipment and chemicals.

Let me know if you have any other questions or if you would like to know more about the other methods.
