Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

My daughter is doing a science project on this question. We still need the backround research and procedure plan. The procedure plan sheet says:
What will be your control group?
What will be your experimental group?
What is your dependent variable?
What is your independent variable?
What are your constant/controlled variables?
What kind of location or setting will you need for your experiment?This part is due October 30,2009.
The backround research is easy but this part is tricky for the both of us. Thank you for all your help and support!

I particularly recommend reading the pages on Constructing a Hypothesis (left side, half way down) for help on variables, but you will probably find the whole Project Guide extremely helpful at various stages of the project.
