I need an interview with an expert

My partner and I are working on a science fair experiment for the grade 8 science fair.
There are some questions we need answered by an expert on chocolate or candy.

Our science project has to do with chocolate. One of us is freezing chocolate and doing various tests on the 6" by 2" bars.
The other is adding things such as marshmallows, raisins and M&Ms into chocolate (which has been melted) then freezing the bars and
letting them change to room temperature afterwards. After they are room temperature the same tests are conducted on that chocolate.

We would have to create a special tray to put the melted chocolate in that we can later place in a freezer.
The would be 1" deep, 6" in length and 2" in width.

Hi,

I'm not too sure what the question is. Do you mean how to create a special tray for the chocolate? Maybe try using a regular aluminum tray and try to mold that specific template using tinfoil.

For any project, you'll need a question, hypothesis, experiment, results, and conclusion (basically). It sounds like you have the experiment, but what exactly is your original question? Do you expect anything to happen? And what quantitative data will you take after the experiment?

Hi:

You might consider melting all of your chocolate samples and then freezing them all in ice cube trays. That way all samples go through the same processing before testing.

The aluminum in a regular tray idea sounds great!
I'll try that.
