I was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly how much water or how much sediment to use in step 7?
Thanks.

I believe the student is referring to:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ?from=Home. It this is right, the idea is to use different amounts of both. I would probably only use 1-10g of sediment in half a liter or so of water...but I'm just guessing. Try that and see if it really does look like runoff from a storm; if it's too murky or not murky enough, add more sediment or water.
