Hi :)

i have a graduation project of building a laser communicator , to transfer data ( audio , and visual data images or video ) through laser beam or a fiber optic cable , i need a circuit for that .
i searched alot but i found only for audio , and it also was so simple , i mean it is not good for a graduation project so i can get data and results from it .
i'm afraid and tired , I approached the date of delivery of the project, i searched alot , and the second problem that ; i faced many theoritical problems and i'm working on it , so i missed the practical part .

Hi,

Here are a set of instructions on one way to do what you want. I cannot vouch for how good they are:

Here is a commercial kit with descriptions of experiments:

This might help give you ideas:

The general rule in engineering o\is tjat a simple design is best. The simple design in this cases is connect an LED to the output of a radio (via the speaker jack) and point the LED at a photodiode. Connect the output of the photoodiode to earphones, or put an amplifier between the photodiode and a speaker. That should work, and anything more complicated is overkill for this assignment..

Hope this helps.

Don’t stress over it!

thanks alot for the nice websites , and i really benifit by them , and i finished my audio circiut , but now i have another question  : how can i build a laser circuit ,so i can transmit a video by it , what are the video signal generator and a display monitor suitable for the circuit ?

thanks,
