How does the heart rate increase/decrease depending on which type/form of video game that is being played?

The question is ambiguous. Do you mean how does hear rate increase/decrease in relation to stimulus (like exercise) or the biochemistry behind heart rate increase/decrease? The former might be a good basis for testing a hypothesis but I don't think the latter is.

Hi there,

You have a very interesting question. A lot of scientists have studies what sorts of stimuli affect heart rate, including exercise, music, and even the size of the wave being surfed! Do you have a particular question about how to set up your experiment? One thing to keep in mind is how you will classify the "type" of video game. Please post back with a more specific question, and we will be happy to help!

Cheers,
Heather
