I've been working on "How Does the Tilt of Earth's Axis Affect the Seasons" and need to verify that I'm on the right track for how to graph it...could I please get an example of the chart? Is a line graph best to display and compare? Thanks.

Hi Cass,
Can you please tell us what kind of data you have? This will dictate what kind of graph would be appropriate.

Here's what I'm logging in a chart as measured on different positions on the globe under a heat lamp, using an infared thermometer ...Does this make sense? Should I do both spring and fall or assume they are the same? Does anything else not add up? And what kind of graph(s) would you recommend? I did a number of bar graphs, but they didn't seem to help with the conclusion...so should I be doing a line graph to show the comparisons? Any other advice for me? Thank you!

HI,
I suggest a line graph, with temperature along the y-axis, season (yes, do both spring and fall) along the x-axis, and using different colored lines for the different spots you are measuring. Then you should see the seasonal variability.
Try that and see what you think!
