Hi,

The best resource I know about on microbial fuel cells is that of Bruce Logan at the the University of Pennsylvania. Here is a link to his site:

If you scroll down the page toward the bottom he has pictures and reports of student built fuel cells. It pays to fully explore the links on his site, as there is a lot of excellent stuff there.
