Proper Storage of Chemicals

Hey! I'm stuck in a situation here and I just would like to know if you can help me.
I have a sample of hydroxyapatite here with me, and I wish to confirm if this is really the sample that I have. I must have it analyzed outside my province. Hydrodxyapatite is an inorganic material. Where do you think should I put my samples? In a plastic container or glass container or paper bag or what? It's only a gram per sample, and I am planning to have three samples analyzed. Thank you very much
