Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

I was just wondering if anyone could think of how I could represent the vacuole in plant and animal cells--- I need to be creative, but I can't think of a specific food or object that could represent just the vacuole of a cell. Thank you very much, I appreciate it.

If your model is big enough, you might use a small plastic bag. Fill it with air or perhaps something that makes it look like pictures of vacuoles in your textbook, then seal it tight. It should have a puffy, irregular shape like most plant vacuoles.
