Hi!

My Science Fair Project is on echolocation, and I'm in desperate need of a demonstration model "how to" ideas.

I have three weeks left to figure out a way to make a model. Basically I'm trying to find the most effective and not so expensive way on making a visual moving model on how the sound would leave the dolphins melon and hit the fish then bounce back. I have already tried a long-spring to demonstrated the sound-wave but I am hoping to find something much more effective and visually accurate.

Hi,

You may find this previously posted thread on how to do echolocation projects to be of help. Look at the second entry in the blog and browse the links in it for the answer:

I hope this helps!
