If the earth changes both rapidly and radically and half of the extant species go extinct, what would the new herpetological biodiversity look like (i.e. which groups among lizards, snakes, caecilians, frogs, toads, salamanders, turtles, and crocodilians) would radiate in the post-extinction world and which would suffer the greatest losses? Please defend your answer in the context that the extinction is a result of human activities discussed in lecture.

This sounds like a question from a take-home exam. Science Buddies is designed to help K-12 students with science fair projects. You need to look back in your lecture notes in order to answer this question.
