Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

I am VERY Intrested in the Lentil experiment involving germination time. Can you give some other palces to look or do you have any research that I can use for documentation. My teacher requires we do a lit review using two sources. For my project I,m going to do other types of seeds to see if I get the same results. Also I want to see at what point the seed being boiled will not germinate

Can you give us a link to the experiment you are describing? I do not see it on Science Buddies' website.

If you need to do background research, I would suggest putting something like 'germination time' into a search engine such as Google, or even just 'germination' into wikipedia. You will get a lot of basic information that you can then use to refine your search. Wikipedia, for example, includes a lot of sources at the end of its articles which you can then look up and use as your own sources.
