when should the balloons start to blow up? I am on day 2 and see no results?

Having never done the experiment myself, I honestly don't know. I would expect that it would take at least a few days before you start seeing results; the reaction will also depend on the temperature--do you have your bottles at room temperature, or outside?
My suggestion is to give it a week--you should probably start seeing a change by then. If not, perhaps check the system for leaks?
