Hi Soccergate,
You may want to browse the Science Buddies Project Idea Guide for cool project ideas:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... deas.shtml
Many of these projects ideas originated from successful projects done by science fair participants. This is sometimes acknowledged in the Sources section at the bottom of the writeup as a citation to a Science Fair Abstract. Here is one example:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p026.shtml
You should also be aware that you can find abstracts of science fair projects done by students in prior years by doing a web search. For example, here are the abstracts from the 2001 California State Science Fair:
http://www.usc.edu/CSSF/History/2001/Projects/
You caan see California State Science Fair abstracts for several years through this website:
http://www.usc.edu/CSSF/History/
Just click on the year in the table you want to see and follow the instructions on the pages that come up.
Most of these projects are pretty cool because they all had to win at a local science fair to get into the state fair.
You can find tons of interesting projects by browsing using these strategies.
Best wishes for a fantastic science year!

Thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooo much!! I will look over these sites and see if I can find any cool ideas!
Last year this boy in my class made it to the state fair and got a bronze medal I think..his was testing what material would soak up oil in water the most..it was a really advance project.
If you have any other sites for me to look at please let me know.
