Science Fair Help!

Me and my two partners for our school's science fair want to find out how much acid is in different types of coke, but don't really know how to measure the level of acid in them. We would love it if someone had any suggestions on how to do this and any links to other similar experiments or projects.
Thank You!

Hi,

If you want to measure the amount of acid in a solution the most frequently used method is titration, which is explained in this Science Buddies Project writeup:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p045.shtml

This project discusses measuring acetic acid in vinegar, not the acid in coco cola, but the principles are the same in both cases, so if you study the writeup and the references in it you should be able to figure it out.

Good luck and have fun!
