I am planning on doing an experiment in which I need to test for allantoin. How do I test for allantoin and is it reasonable?

When I looked for analysis techniques for allantoin I found most people use reverse phase HPLC(High Performance Liquid Chromatography) or maybe Capillary Electrophoresis. It is hard to tell if either technique is “reasonable” for you. You need access to relatively expensive, but common, equipment and access to someone (like a mentor) who knows how to use it and can help you design the analysis experiment. If you have this access then you probably can do the analysis without a lot of problems. If you do not have access to such a mentor & equipment then you would probably say the analysis is not “reasonable”.for you. For tips on how to find a mentor see:
