DMonea,

I've split this post from the original topic and moved it to the forum corresponding to your grade level that covers biology. However, your first step should be to look through our project ideas and project guide:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... deas.shtml
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ndex.shtml

then let us know what you're interested in and we can help answer any questions.

Good luck,
Amanda

Thank you very much! I actually did look at the list of science projects yesterday and I did find some that caught my attention. The only problem is my family is a little tight on money right now and these projects were either not acceptable for my grade level or way to complex for my budget. Do you know of any websites were they would list some projects that I could do with some items present in the home? I do believe it would be possible for me to get some plant seeds.
Thank you, DMonea :)

Hi there,

Some of the Science Buddies projects do allow you to use household items. However, here is a link to another site that gives you ideas for experiments you can do with household items:

Hope that helps,
Heather

If you do a Google search for "science projects with household items," you will get a lot of hits.
