Hi,
I am a 7th grader getting ready for the science fair. My project is using a digital camera to measure sky glow. I was wondering where should I point my camera for the experiment. I was thinking of maybe the Orion belt, but I was not sure exactly and wondering for some guidence from an expert.

Thanks,

This is an interesting project.

I think you will be able to answer your own question once you determine the hypothesis which you plan to prove for your experiment. To test your hypothesis, you will have to have some kind of data. I can think of several ways to get data from a digital camera. You'll need to determine what data you need and how you can get it from your camera. Then you should be able to figure out where to point it.

If you need help on developing your hypothesis, you should use this resource found here on ScienceBuddies: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... esis.shtml

Developing your hypothesis is only part of planning and designing your experiment. Be sure you check out all the helpful information here on ScienceBuddies: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ndex.shtml
