I am having a moral problem. I am working on a project I found in science buddies, and there is a model that has to be built. Is it okay to copy and paste from the list?(I ask because it feels like plagiarism) Also, is it okay to put similar objects with different measurements in a grouping, like this : wood (sizes and quantity:(x2)20 × 2-1/2 × 3/4 in, 6-1/2 × 1-1/2 × 3/4 in (x1)11 × 11 × 3/4 in, 20 × 6-1/4 × 3/4 in, 2 × 1-1/2 × 3/4 in, 5 × 1-1/2 × 1-1/2 in) ?

If you could tell me which project you are working on, I could give you my best answer.

In general, copying a list, like a list of materials, would not be considered plagiarism. A key part of science is to be able to explain your scientific discovery to others in such detail that they can reproduce - that is to say "copy" - your results.

How you group objects in a list is up to you. You should group them in the way you feel best explains what you are trying to explain.

I hope this helps.
