I'm researching and I need information based in physiology. Is there a free college or high school level online physiology text book I can use? Please verify that the information is correct and reliable before submitting addresses

Hey there,

What kind of information do you need about physiology specifically? And are we talking about human physiology or just generally? I think maybe you can just google specific topics within your physiology subject and get some good information...But just to get you started, here is a website that has some good topics within physiology: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Human_Physiology
Here is another website that has a couple human physiology textbooks online: http://www.prenhall.com/silverthorn/
And here is another one that has many topics for you to browse through: http://spot.colorado.edu/~dubin/bookmarks/b/1240.html

Good luck and all the best with your research!

Hello,

The previous links all seem great, and I would definitely recommend searching specific topics that you want to study before you turn to a textbook. It is much easier to learn specific information about a topic by looking for webpage’s and articles with the information that you are looking for, textbooks can sometimes become overwhelming, and because they are required to include a wealth of information, they may not go into sufficient detail for your research. However, I found a link to an online free physiology textbook, here it is: http://www.mfi.ku.dk/ppaulev/content.htm.

Hope this helps,
Nithin T

Hi there,

There are several of us here with a background in physiology--you've come to a good place! Feel free to ask a more specific question (I recommend you post it as a separate topic, to make it easier for us to see) and probably some of us can help you out.

Good luck!
