Life sciences or microbiology help?

I'm in honors biology 9, and am in need of a science fair topic, or just basic idea. I'm looking to go into a life science or microbiology type project because that is what most interests me. I have until January 24, so a little over a month. I'm considering different bacteria projects, and also some human body/medicinal fields. I'm also trying to go a little "above and beyond," but not challenging to the point where it is a mess. Any suggestions, topics, or past experiences are greatly appreciated!

I've narrowed it to different culturing type projects, but they may be way overdone. So my new idea - hatching chicken eggs. Common idea, but not commonly done? The question is, how to make that into a project. I know how to go about the actual hatching part, but how to make a project or something scientific to present is the challenge. Any suggestions?

Hi, I would suggest you discuss your idea with your teacher first since project involving the use of animal will required approval and review.
