Welcome to the forum!

This page has lots of info and links to a sample abstract: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ract.shtml

If you want feedback on your draft, feel free to post it here, and you're likely to get a response within 24-48 hours.

Hello:

It sounds like you're feeling overwhelmed with the idea of the abstract. From the link in the previous post, you can see that your abstract should contain the following:
Introduction
Problem Statement
Procedures
Results
Conclusions
I took a look at the experiment (https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p078.shtml). In the experiment is an introduction. Why don't you start there and put the experiment introduction into your own words? Next you need a problem statement. I found the following statement in the experiment:
In this chemistry science fair project, you will investigate how temperature affects the amount of light produced by the luminol reaction.
You could say something like this (in your own words) for your problem statement. The procedures are also in the experiment, so summarize them next. The results and conclusions are what you found. Good luck! As mentioned before, if you want to post your abstract we can comment on that.

HTH.
