Hello, my name is Mary Kate and i am doing a Science Fair Project at All Saints Catholic School. My research question is:
What effect does the temperature of the room have on how quickly a candle will burn?

I have a few Questions I would like to ask you:
1. When did you first learn about this topic?
2. Could you please tell me what motivated you to study this topic?
3. What are some of the most important things you have learned about this topic?
4. Why do you think this topic is important, useful, or interesting?
5. What practical applications have you found for this topic?
6. Do you still use some of the things you learned about this topic to this day?

And if you have answered these questions for me please write back that you allow me to use this information for my Science Fair Project. Thank you! :D

Mary Kate,

You might be able to find someone to answer your interview questions if you post in the Careers in Science forum:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... m.php?f=35

... but first, read this post:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... =35&t=5681

In particular, you are unlikely to find an expert who specifically studies the burning of candles. If you change your topic to something a lot more general like 'chemistry', and title your post something like 'chemist interview', you are much more likely to find someone. You might also be interested in this career information:

... but keep in mind that not all of those careers are represented among the experts here.

Good luck,
Amanda
