Hi,
My name is Shannon Blackstone and i am doing a Science fair project at my school. My research question is: What effect does the angle of the knee have on the amount of strain on the patella tendon? I am looking for someone who has had at least two years of experience on or related to this topic. Please respond, soon.

Hi Shannon,

It sounds like you are looking for someone to interview. My area of expertise is in chemisty and microbiology, so I won't be able to help you with interview questions on your topic. However, I will look for one of our other volunteers who might be able to help you. We might not have an expert in this area, however, so you should also look elsewhere for someone to interview. A physician specializing in sports medicine or a physical therapist might be able to answer interview questions.

We can help you with questions about doing your science fair project. Please let us know if you have any questions about designing an experiment or writing up your results.

Hi Shannon,

It's been a whole day and no one has responded to the request for an interview. You definitely need an orthopedic medical expert to help you with the interview.

Please do let me know about your project and what question you are trying to answer.

While you are waiting for an expert, here is some background reading for your project.

Here's a method for measuring the Q angle of the knee. What are you going to measure on your project?

Here's a Science Buddies project on knee-bending. Is this the project that you are doing?
