Hi,
This is an excellent project for an elementary student and a good introduction for studies in human behavior. This is not my area of expertise, but the study of what motivates people to play video games is a topic for current research. I would say that people play video games to have fun, and those who are experienced in playing video games will win more and feel more in control. Video games end more quickly if you don't win. It's definitely more fun to win.

Thank you Donna- 3 boys did this as a group project and it was a lot of fun- now we are just trying to tie up loose ends and bring the whole analysis/conclusion together.
